After Yougosolva was disbanded Zastava discontinued the production of the CZ99 in 1991 & Started the production of the CZ999 

The CZ999 line of 9mm is typically used as a service pistol around the world. Zastava Arms is recognized for its quality and reliability. It also features a chrome-lined barrel, drop-free mags, & a and three-dot sight system.
