This batch of P-64s are marked, "PL AMW" it stands for "Polska Agencja Mienia Wojskowego" (Polish Military Property Agency). This marking indicates that the pistol was sold as surplus by the Polish government after being removed from military or police service. The AMW (Agencja Mienia Wojskowego) handles the sale of decommissioned military equipment before being exported or sold on the civilian market.

The P-64 is a compact, semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9×18mm Makarov, developed in Poland in the late 1950s and adopted by the Polish military and police in the 1960s. It was heavily inspired by the Walther PPK but has unique design elements. The pistol features an all-steel construction, a 6-round magazine, a double-action/single-action (DA/SA) trigger, and a manual safety that also acts as a decocker.
