The Helwan is an Egyptian licensed reproduction of the Beretta M1951. Manufactured of the contract pistol began in 1955 in Egypt by Maadi for their Armed Forces. 

Due to Beretta & Egyptian "M1951" being exclusive for the military, there is no way to date them by SN & they have no date code. The only C&R eligible M1951 is the Israeli contract.
