This unit looks to be a transitional with the MKI slide and MKII Frame
When it was introduced early in the 20th century, the Browning Hi-Power 9mm pistol was a revelation, offering the perfect balance of handling, size, and firepower. Even with the double-column magazine, the grip is narrow to neatly accommodate nearly every hand size, and the single-action trigger provides a smooth, consistent pull. A large, ambidextrous manual thumb safety is conveniently located just above the grip.
The Kareen pistol is a Hi-Power model pistol, initially assembled in Israel from parts bought from FEG in Hungary, who made the exceptional Arcus Hi-Power pistols, and later moved to entirely domestic production.
The Kareen MKII pistol is a Hi-Power model pistol, initially "MK I" was assembled in Israel from parts bought from FEG in Hungary, who made the exceptional Arcus Hi-Power pistols, and later the "MKII" moved to entirely domestic production. The MKII introduced the square shape of the trigger guard, larger beavertail, hogue grips & more ergonomic curves.
