FEG

The 1st Gen PJK-9HP is a semi-automatic pistol made in Hungary by FÉG (Fegyver—és Gépgyártó Részvénytársaság). It is the closest 1:1 clone of the classic Browning Hi-Power FEG produced, closely mirroring its design, function, and compatibility. In contrast, FÉG’s P9M series features several design deviations from the traditional Hi-Power platform.

The model designation has a personal touch:

• PJK stands for Pamela Jane Kassnar, the wife of the original U.S. importer KBI. After being imported into the U.S, this item was exported. Military or police issued then imported again. 

• 9 refers to the 9mm caliber.

• HP denotes its Hi-Power lineage.
